TIMELESS

The project explores the interaction of materials, where time and change are an integral part of the process itself. Using papier-mâché, copper, and enamel, I create forms that reflect the concepts of transience and eternity, as well as ecological consciousness and the connection with nature.

In this project, paper serves as a material symbolizing impermanence and transformation. Its texture is tactile, unique, and breathing. Paper changes over time, and it is in these changes that its true beauty is revealed. It is both natural and transitional, reminding us that everything in the world is constantly evolving. Its fleeting nature is an inseparable part of its aesthetic, where every alteration or detail adds a new chapter to its existence.

Copper, added in some works, creates a contrast with paper through its durability. It can endure for centuries without changing its appearance. In some works, copper with hot enamel is visible, while in others, it is hidden within the object.

This project is not just an exploration of materials, but also a meditation on time, change, and interaction with the surrounding world. It reflects on themes of engagement with nature, a resistance to impermanence, and the appreciation of what cannot be held onto.
