I am interested in what remains.

I look for answers in material. I layer paint and strip it away.

I carve words into wet canvas.

I make objects from paper around a metal core — the paper will decay, the enamel on metal will remain, and this “permanent” will become visible.

Fire in the kiln is a co-author.

Sand from the terrace is a material.

My body in motion is a tool.
