Timeless works with materials that don't age the same way. Paper changes fast, it tears, yellows, softens, and that change is part of what it is, not a flaw in it. Copper with hot enamel barely changes at all. It can sit for a hundred years and look the same.
In these works the copper is hidden inside the paper form. When the paper eventually breaks down, what's left is the metal, a trace of what it was inside. Some pieces also hold a light inside.
What ages and what doesn't, in a material and in a person, isn't really a question I answer here. The paper moves the way a life actually moves, worn and changed by time. The metal doesn't move much at all. I don't know what that is in a person, only that something like it seems to be there.
